1) I've been a very unproductive scientist
2) I've been blogging and blog hopping way too much ( It's so addictive though, so many awesome blogs to read!)
3) My science department presentation is coming WAY too fast, in 2 weeks! I'm getting really nervous about it!
These two weeks, I'm going to be extra good about not checking my blog or Etsy at work.
I'm feeling like I'm in a science rut. I think my boss and I just need to sit down and talk about where my project is going and I should feel better. Right now I'm somewhat lost and the feeling is irking me. I'm glad I have my art to turn to but it'd be nice to have a bit of balance sometimes!
So, needless to say, I'm so glad it's Friday. It's the first weekend in a while that I have had where I can devote it to Muntedkowhai. Necklaces galore, I tell you!
Amidst all this hum drum, what makes my Friday Happy?
Photos! Anna's cd of our Vegas photos has finally arrived and there is over 300 photos to sort and be afraid of. (No nice photos can be taken when you have a few patron shots, long islands and jager shots.) Photos always make me happy and since I did not take my camera on the trip, I had been looking forward to these for a week or so! Here is a bit of a teaser and this photo makes me happy because I'm most silly in it, plus I liken myself to an eagle here:

I'm lucky that my company has actually blocked a certain amount of access to the Internet, because without that I'd probably get very little work done while I'm at my desk. Can't rely on my own self-control some days!!
I hope you have fun this weekend turning some of your new button stash into necklace beauties and I look forward to seeing more pictures from your trip... Looks like a great time was had eagle-girl! :-)
