Thanks to a feature written by the witty Majorie Skinner for the Portland Mercury's Mercury on Design blog (dude that is a mouthful), I made my first sale to, a male! He sent me a message through Etsy after he bought one of my necklaces and it made me go, ~*~ Awwwwwwww~*~.
He read about Muntedkowhai through the feature and went and signed up for Etsy and purchased one of my necklace. The thought of a guy going beyond a shopping mall and venturing into a Design blog makes me envious. Oh I wish alot of things but I think nothing beats awesomeness than your significant other understanding what your taste is really like. As ideal as that sounds, I know that is near impossible which is why last night while chatting with my boyfriend, I bluntly told him to go the Etsy way.
He had done a supberb job when he bought me an Italian silver necklace when we first started dating. I was so super nervous to open it in front of him because I did not know what he had gotten me and I did not want him to see my reaction. (I'm not very good at hiding my disgusted or displeased face) I thanked him and told him that in Chinese tradition, it is rude to open the present in front of the giver (actually true) so I did so after he left the room. To my surprise, I totally fell in love with what he had brought me. It was a fine silver necklace, 3 tiered with three small silver balls on each tier. Wow. To think of it, I need to wear that more often. In fact, I will wear it tomorrow.
