Teetering on a pancake rock over the grandcanyon. Awesome plants. Anna by the Canyon. My fave photo of all, before boarding our tour bus, we took a snap shot of oursevlves from the reflection of the bus's shiny wheel caps!
Another cool jumping shot. I find these plants fascinating. I don't know what their name is!
I had wanted to take photos of his shoes, just his shoes but was too chicken shit to ask.
Anna enjoying her mimosa in the morning.
*If you go to Vegas for a buffet, make it at Wynns! It costs around $32 for lunch, it sounds alot but take my word, it beats Sahara's $7 buffet by whatever 32-7 is and alot.
(see a joke!)
Walking along the strip is quite an exercise but much needed after all the consuming of foods!
One of the oldies "Frontier" has been torn down, as has "Stardust".
The highlight would have been Sat night, hands down.
Adam's brother had tickets to the National finals bull riding champs and could not go so Adam took Anna and I, along with his wee 4 year old newphew Andy. (Andy is adorable but he did not like me. Some kids just don't jive with me even if they are cute as a button) If you have never been to a rodeo, yeah that's right, that's what they are called, you have to! It's absolutely amazing!! Full of cow boys and mexican families in their adorable cow boy hats and tight tight jeans (oooofff! Tight is bad) The stadium was jam packed and I've never seen any arena/stadium jam packed. It was insane and I fed off the vibrant energy. I tell you what, the mexicans know how to do the mexican wave right, it does not suck. Plus a tall pint of beer is NOT expensive! They don't guage you like they do at the Rose Quarter here in Portland. It was only 3 dollars for a tall plastic tree glass of beer! Wow oh wow! I'm in heaven!
After the rodeo, we headed to help Adam's boyfriend because his tire was flat and he did not know how to change it. I thought I knew but then it dawned on me we were in trouble. 2 gay guys and 2 asian chicks does not equals handy work. After 2 hours of " let me have a go!", we gave up and called someone who had AAA and the guy got the job done in 5 seconds flat. So what was there left to do but drown our sorry egos into tequila shots and delicious long islands at gay bars?! Exactly that.
It was the first time in a LONG while that I called it quits at 5am, I can hardly make it to midnight these days! After sleeping for two hours, Adam drove us to the airport to get back to Portland. Wow, I think I slept as if I was in a coma for the next two days. It's official, I'm incapable of partying like this anymore.
