"Everyone deserves a sexy new year"
The past two mornings, I've spent half an hour on making my Christmas cards. It's been a while since I've done this and it feels, SO good. Like many other crafters this year, hand made is the way to go. For me, it is not so much the money (ok, so a bit) but it is so invigorating to make things for people we love. I have decided to only make Christmas cards for my international friends and kept the number at 10. (I don't think it'd be as fun when you start making obligatory christmas cards, plus I'm no factory!) That is the misconception alot of people have about my hand made goods. "Oo can I buy 4 of those?" Mmm. Not really. I wish I could but then it really takes the fun out of my creative process, plus it is literally impossible for me to recreate it some motifs not to mention vintage buttons.
For my Christmas cards, I kept it simple, red ink pad, my awesome Ornamantea stamps and left over card board paper. Oh whoa, what's that tingly feeling, I think, crap, Christmas is starting to make it's appearence!
