Vintage dress forms

I spent 2 hours looking and pouring over the internet, to see where I could acquire a vintrage dress form. I love the tea stained feel of old dress forms and although I could find new dress forms for about $60, they were stark white. Stark white is a bit too much for me as I have a lot of pieces that are off white and there would be no contrast when I take photographs. Perhaps, I could stain it with tea... Oh that is a scary thought! I'm sure there is a lovely vintage/antique dress form wanting to live with me and have my lace decorations all over here. As my creations are evolving, alot of them need to be photographed not only on a piece of cardboard but drapped over so that the chains are properly represented. I have no tripod so photographing myself is quite a bit of a trial! (Mmm Christmas is coming up....)
Nonetheless, I went to Flickr and fell in love with these vintage dress form, can you hear my heart melting?

This photograph as a whole just rocks my world.

I could get this one for under $100....but did you see how beautiful the others looked?

If you have any advice as to where I could make one mine, I'd really appreciate it! Is it weird that I want a dress form for christmas?

Ooooh, I would go with the blank slate... tea-dye, sketch on it, write calligraphy on it, stencil it! The possibilities to have a one of a kind piece are endless. One of my desires is also to have a dress form, but once my house realises itself!
