Cut and Paste Portland

Cut and Paste

Thanks to Majorie Skinner of MOD, I was notified of a truly awesome event, Cut and Paste. Basically, you get to watch graphic artists compete with each other and there are screens with their window shots so that you can see their work come alive. They are given a topic once they are seated and then given 15 minutes or 20 minutes to finished their 2D or 3D piece. How insanely nerve wrecking! The first round was the 3D competition and I could put myself in their place and got super nervous for them! (Good thing, I was the one watching them with a glass of cabernet!)

The stage of anxious talent, broadcasted.

To support one of Eric's friend (who was in the motion category), I had a bomb sticker stuck onto my bum because my bum is the bombz.

The 3D category goes awry (Thanks babe) when Dominic's computer crashes!!! (2 minutes until mouse down time!) The entire room went " Ahhhhh!""Gasp!!" when we saw his error messaged screen!

The event was made more kick ass with the really cool music that the DJ was playing, which negated the expensive house wine!

All photos belong to Eric Chan who also has a blog about his photography!
