Bless Sarasophia's heart. How did she know I love love to talk about myself? Thanks for the tag! It's my night off Muntedkowhai.. kind of.. so here it goes:




#1 What is your current obsession?

It has to be fiddling around on Squarespace. I'm in the midst of setting up my own webpage. I'm have never learned coding and so when my friend Les introduced me to Squarespace, I was estatic! It is very intuitive and you can click and change every aspect of your website as you see fit. I highly recomment it, try it out for free for 14 days! Compared to other website template builders, Squarespace is powerful enough to produce professional websites that do not look like cookie cutter template sites. I'm wowed by their users webpages! My 14 days are nearly over so I'm definitely going to purchase it tomorrow! Here is a sneak peak at my unfinished front page:






#2 Who was the last person you hugged?




My mum. This was her when she was around 3 or 4 years old. This photo of her just cracks me up because she is so cute! She isn't smiling and seem to be in deep thought, must be thinking about that uneven hair cut she got from my hairstylist grandmother.



#3 What’s your favorite dinner?

This is cruel. How can I just choose ONE?!


Hainan Chicken rice. Hainan is an island off the South Eastern coast of China. The speciality about this dish is that the rice is cooked with chicken broth and garlic instead of just plain water which makes the rice really fragrant. I am quite the champion in my family, as I used to be able to pack 6 dishes in one sitting. Don't judge me.




#4 What was the last movie you saw in the Theatres?

Adventureland

#5 What was the last thing you bought? (to wear)

A fine jersey short sleeve crew dress from American Apparel (for my fashion show!)

I love the colour, it is very spring!

#6 What are you listening to right now?

The click ticking and the shore like sounds (far away high way car sounds).

#7 What is your favorite weather?


Late spring and early fall.

#9 Tea or Coffee?
I'm drinking tea right now but I have conditioned myself to want coffee in the morning. For the most part, tea.

#10 What did you want to become as a child?

Architecturer, until I found out you actually had to have math skillz. Eye surgeon, until I found out how gross an eye is when the eyelids are pryed open, ew ew ew ew ew. Microbiologist, success! ok so I picked Microbiologist when I was 17 because I had to have a declared major for the scholarship I was getting. So not quite a child.



#11 If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?

Marie Antoinette+translator and Suri Cruise



#13 What is your most challenging goal right now?

To keep interest in Science as this is my real paying job, lack of interest/things to do means the day goes by SO slow.



#14 What is your weirdest obsession?

I love pealing skin off. This obsession started when my friend Ming had bearded dragons and when they started shedding, she would have them on her lap and pick at dead skins. It is oddly soothing.

#15 Why did you start a blog?

It started off as a blog for my family and friends in the states to read when I was doing my Masters over in New Zealand.


#16 What's your blog about (give me the 2-3 sentence elevator pitch)

My blog is a mixture of Muntedkowhai pieces update, inspirations, adoration of other hand made artisans and at times, snippets of my personal life. (Juicy! Not!)

Modish biztips! (Jena is full of great advice!!)
Like Sarasophia said, pretty much the blogs that I follow and the ones that follow me, I read on a daily basis!

#19 If you could change professions or careers, what would you like to try? (realistically speaking)

Brick and mortar store owner of my own creations and other talented designers!



#18 What is your dream job? (realistic or unrealistic)
The above! I think my dream job would be able to do half science and half Muntedkowhai but nothing half baked about it!

#20 Who is your favorite designer at the moment?

Kate Towers, a Portland designer,hands down.

#22 One thing that you would snitch out of someone's closet, with no regrets.

I wouldn't regret snitching Katie Cruise's boyfriend jeans.


#21 What's your favorite brand of jeans?

I am no big fan of jeans..... so I do not have a favourite brand of jeans. I do like Jcrew pants, they are a charm to wear! The cuts are nice, unlike alot of other chain stores.



#23 What designer piece of clothing would you most like to own? (new or vintage)

Anna Sui floral print playsuit. Since I'm not fond of my arms, I would wear a cream short cardi with heels. This is so cute, it looks very much like a pair of sexy pjs that I'd like to wear to the Saturday Market.
