Amalgamation of old world lace and modern techniques

Much thanks and hugs to Tania of Arohasilhouettes who gave me the heads up to this amazing Etsy artist!! Barbara of Barbara Macleod Jewellery uses days gone by patterns reminiscent of delicate lace in CAD forms and using photo etching techniques and setting in brilliant dusty enamels, she creates a mixture of old and new that is very dear to my heart! The idea of something traditionally so delicate as lace, set in hardy silver is textural heaven!

The last one is my favourite by far!!

OMG... I love these bracelets. They totally remind me of the designs you create. You should start making bracelets too! I bet they would be a hit!

Tiff, I thought to mention a trick with jars that I discovered that will work well for staging your earrings. It worked well for my everyday storage of my own, decorating on a budget... use a test pot of house paint in an interesting tint eggshell, light blue etc. to paint the outside of the jar. Matte works particularly well, makes the jar look like pottery esp if you leave brushmarks.
