If there was one person I could have dinner with, it would be Banksy. Wait, scratch that. We would have dinner and then go gallivanting through alleys and make art and oh yes, he'll enjoy my company and I won't be intimidated by him. Or the next best thing would be to make it to Brussels to see his newest installations. Banksy VS Brussels Museum is a summer showing that ends August 31st 2009 with FREE admissions. Museum goers will see Banksy's pieces injected admist the museum's own collections of art and that idea blows my mind. Prop to Brussel Museum for this, I wish I was there!
In this series, Banksy focuses quite a bit on animatronics which is bringing to life, animals or items we have always thought of as food. A bunny filing its nails, nuggets feeding on sauce and fish sticks swimming in a fish bowl. (I know, don't they look like turds?!)
And what is Banksy showing without some satire?
