Whichever way you spell it, Melaka is a sensory overload city in Malaysia. If you look beyond the tourist (guilty!), you'd be mesmerized by the amalgamation of dutch architecture and chinese culture. I love love fusion and when it is historic, well boy, that always gets my heart a flutter. The Dutch painted most of the buildings clay red and the nonya houses are decorated with beautiful colour detailed birds, flowers and phoenixes. I was looking over my travel photos and I want to go traveling again. Oh how I wish I had the money! I love traveling with Aaron because:1) He loves to eat.
2) He loves to try new things (food, activities etc)
3) He is nice to wake up to.
4) He balances my crazy stressed out traveling behavior.
5) He finishes the cryptic crossword puzzles I can't figure out.
I'm very much looking forward to the Pang family reunion which my dad is treating Aaron and I to a Mediterranean cruise. I so can't wait! White washed houses, crystal teal ocean and light flowing summer dresses with wine. It's scheduled for in two years time so for now, I'll shut my eyes and remember my past travels.
Where would you want to travel next?
