It is sunny today, it hasn't been for a few days. (Plus it has gotten cooler here in Melbourne)
It's Friday and I'm looking forward to a weekend of art and creating. (I'm waiting on supplies in the mail)...... then I can start on my new Muntedkowhai collection.
i just made a tuna mayo sandwich with cheap tuna that has too much water in it and its a gloopy mess. Still have to eat it.
Lesson learnt, don't buy cheap tuna.
I'm feeling like a failure recently in lab because after a misfortunate contamination with bacteria in my cells, I have had a tough time growing up my cells because of another stupid mistake. Everything has been rectified now but it is bugging me that I have not made progress in the past 2 months. This is science, that is what everyone says.
I'll be going into the lab this weekend.
It's one of those Fridays where you're like, gosh, F I N A L L Y.

Eek. I got some new cells from ATCC recently and you will not BELIEVE how slow they are growing. Grrr.

Yes, cheap tuna gets like that. Only if you're desperate (or a poor student).

@Teresa: these are from ATCC as well and i think paint dries faster than these cells divide.
