love is lying to yourself that you are letting go of your dignity
and there is an inner struggle of who you used to be and who you are willing to be
then you realise that the love for yourself is much richer and healthier than the love of two people, even if this means you are loving the new you that this love has spawn.
then you think, how is one person full with only love for oneself? this can not be, for it is egotistical to think so. a full person is a person who is balanced of love for oneself, love for another and love for the new person that each component adds up to.
for this is truly the best individual. one that is neither saturated of one section.
but love does not do equal sections. love can make one self less equal than before, so willingly that one is blind to it. until it is late and upon reflection, we notice that we are not what we used to be, what we used to stand for and how we speak of what should be. we notice that we do not live our words. our ideals.
this is normal. sometimes we are a better person because of the shift. we are a more balanced person. sometimes we are so imbalanced that when we shift, we are not used to it.
love is being torn with the love for yourself and the love for your new self.
