Australian Animals

Last weekend, Aaron and I decided to go to Melbourne Zoo for a bit of a wander. We wanted to mainly see native animals and since we weren't prepared, we couldn't go to Healsville (which has a conservation type of zoo, less cages, more native animals). It is definitely not as good as the Singapore Zoo but it was a great way to spend the day nonetheless:

Wombat
They're so cute and rotund.

Sleeping Koala bear, digesting his hard to digest food

i woke up!

It's the second time in my life that I have seen a peacock open up his plummage

the rarely seen adams

we're off to the mountains this weekend with my lab co workers, i can't wait. will have lots of photos and it'll be nice to get away!

That last one looks a bit surly, Tiff. Better not stick your fingers too near.
